Mark CoonsParticipant
Thank you everyone. I had a friend coming up to fish and advised him to watch for them. Just wanted to be sure I didn’t give him bad info.

Mark CoonsParticipantBill, sorry so long on responding and yes I would be interested, but if there is high water how do you do it? Would they use the same locations as the Browns or do they prefer different criteria. What triggers the time they start to make their redds and would there be enough of them or would it be like looking for a needle in a hay stack? Mark
Mark CoonsParticipantBill, Thanks for the info. We thought that might be the case. Last Spring he also had a day when he caught 3 Bows in a row in the same spot and thought they might be staging up for a spawn, so he moved out of that area. I guess George had it right. Mark
Mark CoonsParticipantBill, I don’t know where that year rattled out of my brain from but you”re right, I was way off. I’m still curious what was the cause of the kill.(was it some type of spill) I’m assuming this is also when the green caddis also disappeared. I have looked at the troutnut site before and saw the rhyacophia and yes it is a real predator, it almost looks prehistoric. I am enjoying the book thanks for sharing all of you’re knowledge of the river.

Mark CoonsParticipantBill, Sorry the weather didn’t co-operate for the Donegal meeting tonight, was looking forward to it. Hopefully sometime in the near future. Was looking to purchase some winter reading material. Mark
Mark CoonsParticipantBill, I’m on also. I guess all of the old forum is gone now? Will this prevent non members from seeing the forum? I hope to able to make it to our local T.U. chapter meeting when you’re here in Dec.. Also wanted to congratulate you on the book. Mark
