Suspended grannom dry
I don’t fish this regularly, but I found it useful to fool those stubborn fish that ignore my other offerings. I think the key is the hackle that imitates legs.
Hook: TMC2487 or TMC2457 sz 14
Thread: UTC 70 black
Body: three strands peacock
Rib: black ultra wire (sm)
Underwing: One natural CDC feather and one brown CDC feather. Add another if the feathers are thin
Overwing: natural dark elk
Hackle: black rooster slightly over sized. three turns over the tie in point of the elk. I avoid getting floatant on it when I fish it
Shuck: light brown or tan antron
